Your MB Series is designed to be used with optional equipment so your filtration system can be customized to meet your water needs:

• Cartridges rated for bacteriological reduction.
• Ultraviolet Sterilizer for control of bacteria and viruses.

Note that the MB Series Filter is intended for use on microbiologically safe water. If it is to be used on water known to be microbiologically unsafe, the ultraviolet sterilizer or ceramic cartridge components are required equipment.
